Oh man. Feeling the effects of the week. The tiredness is kicking in. The energy is dropping. The momentum is definitely slowing. So close....
Luckily, I have breakfast to motivate me to roll out of my futon!
Luckily, the lessons that we learned in class weren't too difficult today!
I definitely couldn't handle anything more. However, I got through the three hours and the quiz without crashing on my face, so I'd call it a mild success!
Let's celebrate with some pottery, shall we?
A group of us who signed up for the pottery activity took the bus to this garden.
It is right off the main road, but you'd never know it was here!
What are these foreign tools....
Master Pro Pottery maker will tell us!
Today is the first of three visits to make a large tea cup vessel thing.
My...masterpiece? uh...maybe not.
I'd like to think that the imperfections are quite beautiful.
Today we made the general bowl shape, but we'll have to come back two more times to finish it off. Cliff hanger! Aren't you just so excited to see how it turns out?!
Back to Rifare, then back to the 家。
The sun was super orange.
You can't really tell, but use your imagination. It's good for you.
The walk home is always so peaceful and quiet, until.....
Kaho happens. Look at that intensity. Ready to attack. Rice on face and all.
Just kidding! maybe...sort of...
Alrighty...Din din!
The fuel to get me through the rest of the day:
Panko crusted chicken, miso soup, salad, and a little potato salad and cucumber tsukemono.
Haruki already crashed at the dinner table.
Don't tempt me, bro. I gotta get through the night of long studying: test, quiz, and homework tomorrow! Yikes.
